Mood - Flipped

The author's mood is confusion. The author gives you two sides of the story. The reader is presented on the situation. One side of the story makes that situation look good and the other doesn't. We can take a look at one of the first "problems." Juli had Bryce in a tight grip when they were in second grade. Juli thought she was going to get a kiss and Bryce had a hard time because he was annoyed. You don't know what to choose. There's evidence why it seemed romantic and why it seemed annoying. You have to choose a side, but if you want to be the open minded reader you have to take notes on how they see it both. I get confused when there's two sides that I believe in. It's like arguementive expect it's playing with you. You might feel proud of Bryce but when you see what Bryce did to Juli like throwing her eggs out, of course you feel angry at him now. Characters make mistakes but sometimes it's like dominios like this book. You don't know what side to be on entirely. You have to jump back and forth.

Flipped - Wendelin Van Draanen (Summary So Far!)

This book is about Juli and Bryce. Bryce claims Juli to be stalker and a weirdo. Juli doesn't look at it the same way Bryce does. Juli is a very smart girl, she does great in school and does creation hobbies like art. Bryce is a boy who moved into the neighborhood at about six years old, getting stalking by Juli since then. He doesn't like to be seen as a coward. When, Juli starting having eggs made by her chickens she hatched in second grade, she gave the eggs to Bryce. Bryce's family threw them away, so called salmonella. When Juli found out Bryce was throwing her eggs away she was frustrated and didn't talk to him for a while. Bryce apologized after his grandpa started to help Juli with her messy yard. His grandpa didn't talk to Bryce's family much, it was rare for him to be talking to Juli. The book goes through both sides of the kids, Bryce and Juli's view. They started to talk a bit more after Bryce's grandpa Chet, helped Bryce apologize and learn.

Flipped - What happens now? (Foreshadowing)"

The book I read, Flipped by Wendelin. I was thinking about what would happen next, so I took a look at foreshadowing and the evidence I had. When Bryce was asked by his dad to see how the eggs from Bryce's crazy stalker, Juli Baker are made. Bryce took the job and went to see the very next day, he didn't ask Juli like his dad had said so. Bryce didn't understand that hen and roosters are different, he thought chickens were one thing and roosters were another. Since, he didn't understand he told his dad, "They're all chickens." His father asked if he had asked Juli, of course he did not. "Our son is a coward." Now, Bryce is being called a coward by his dad. As we saw in the beginning, he does not like failing or shown as an idiot or coward. After he made the connection that a chickens are hens and roosters, he felt disappointed with himself. In the beginning, he said he didn't want to seem like a coward when he broke up with his girlfriend when she fought with Juli. He hates being seen or looked at like if he was a coward. I think he's going to confront Juli, he's not going down that fast.
