Our main character of the story is Lilybet. Lilybet is a 13 year old which has leprechaun blood. She has to be the keeper of a gold stash. She's like the leader and protector of the leprechaun clan. She was forced to pass the trails to remember her best memories and to get home. The main leprechaun of we first know of is Balthazar, was chosen to help and protect Lil through her trials before turning into the keeper of the clan. Another important leprechaun is Cain, he helped Lil through her second trail, he's one of the bravest and strongest. He has no fears and can be considered lazy. Where is this happening? Mood - Flipped

The author's mood is confusion. The author gives you two sides of the story. The reader is presented on the situation. One side of the story makes that situation look good and the other doesn't. We can take a look at one of the first "problems." Juli had Bryce in a tight grip when they were in second grade. Juli thought she was going to get a kiss and Bryce had a hard time because he was annoyed. You don't know what to choose. There's evidence why it seemed romantic and why it seemed annoying. You have to choose a side, but if you want to be the open minded reader you have to take notes on how they see it both. I get confused when there's two sides that I believe in. It's like arguementive expect it's playing with you. You might feel proud of Bryce but when you see what Bryce did to Juli like throwing her eggs out, of course you feel angry at him now. Characters make mistakes but sometimes it's like dominios like this book. You don't know what side to be on entirely. You have to jump back and forth.

Flipped - Wendelin Van Draanen (Summary So Far!)

Flipped - What happens now? (Foreshadowing)"

The book I read, Flipped by Wendelin. I was thinking about what would happen next, so I took a look at foreshadowing and the evidence I had. When Bryce was asked by his dad to see how the eggs from Bryce's crazy stalker, Juli Baker are made. Bryce took the job and went to see the very next day, he didn't ask Juli like his dad had said so. Bryce didn't understand that hen and roosters are different, he thought chickens were one thing and roosters were another. Since, he didn't understand he told his dad, "They're all chickens." His father asked if he had asked Juli, of course he did not. "Our son is a coward." Now, Bryce is being called a coward by his dad. As we saw in the beginning, he does not like failing or shown as an idiot or coward. After he made the connection that a chickens are hens and roosters, he felt disappointed with himself. In the beginning, he said he didn't want to seem like a coward when he broke up with his girlfriend when she fought with Juli. He hates being seen or looked at like if he was a coward. I think he's going to confront Juli, he's not going down that fast.

Flipped

I started reading Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen. This is for Battle of the Books. The question I got was to "describe the exposition." The exposition of the story we're introduced to Juli Baker and Bryce Loski. Bryce Loski talks in the beginning of the story explain how he met Juli. Juli found out they recently moved in so, as a curious little kids she went to see her new neighbor. She was trying to help the Loski family by grabbing some packages into the house. Juli was stopped by Bryce's dad. Bryce came to look what was happening, what happened was Juli fell in love with Bryce since the moment she saw him. Juli would turn into almost a complete stalker. She would try to come and play with Bryce everyday, Bryce would always be hiding. Juli would hate any girl he liked, she would help him cheat on exams in school, and she would sniff his hair. Bryce was frighten and trying to get away from her crazy neighbor, Juli. Juli and Bryce live in regular neighborhood with very few children. When Bryce is hiding at his home, he can't hide from her in school. Bryce tried getting a girlfriend, moving seats, and hiding just to get away from her. Bryce is frustrated and scared to see what she might think of next, Juli on the other hand wants Bryce to be hers.

Novel I'm Reading!

The novel that I'm reading is Green by Laura Peyton Roberts. It's a fictional book. I got this book recommended by a teacher. I like it so far. The cover goes perfectly with the book. The key is just the beginning because that's when the adventure starts. It starts with a girl named Lily Green, she's just an average girl until she finds out what her grandma has for her instore. I really love Fiction so, I'm really excited to see this book continue its story.
